 As
part of its ongoing efforts to achieve comprehensive development
in North Darfur State and to meet the inspirations of people,
El-Fashir Stadium will be officially re-opened during the
current visit of President Al-Bashir to Darfur after huge
renovation process. El-Fashir Stadium is renovated to be up to
the international standards in an area of 7035 meters with
natural grass in the play ground and 4 lights towers beside an
inside fence along 600 meters to keep off the fans from the
playground. The main compartment of the stadium can take up to
250 persons with 2 sections for fans at both sides beside other
areas around the playground for the fans. Sport experts say the
new stadium ranks the 4 after El-Mariekh, Khartoum and El-Hilal
Stadiums in Khartoum State.
